OLCC Commission Takes Step to Continue Curbside Delivery
At the June Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) meeting the Commission voted to extend the ability of dispensaries to offer curbside delivery. Normally all transfers of cannabis and cannabis products must take place inside the licensed premise of the dispensary. When Governor Brown issued executive orders back in March to promote social distancing, the OLCC voted to allow dispensaries to bring the products to the purchaser’s vehicle, instead of having them step inside the dispensary and risking potential exposure to Covid-19 to the customer and the dispensary’s employees. This continues to be very popular with consumers.
The rule allowing curbside delivery expires in September of this year. The OLCC will decide then if conditions warrant extending the curbside delivery option.
